This painting is an homage to wildflower season in WA. A backwards glancing female figure, named after the fringe lilies in the artwork is surrounded by native flowers. Banksias, hakeas, flowering gums, bottlebrush, purple peas, fringe lilies, blue flax lilies, Australian bluebells and donkey orchids grow and curve around the figure. Tonal washes of watercolour fill the spaces between the ink linework.
This artwork has been professionally framed utilising reflection free art glass, paired with an Italian Belini craftsman formal soft black frame, floated and spaced within the mount. Also available in fine art print.
