Amy Freestone is proud 25-year-old Malgana/Ngadju woman from Western Australia.
Being Aboriginal is at the heart of who she is, and her cultural identity shapes everything Amy does. Creating art is one of the most meaningful ways she satys connected to her ancestors, her Country, and the stories that have been passed down through generations.
Aboriginal art is more than just painting for Amy - it’s storytelling, healing and a way to honour the knowledge and strength of her people. It brings her so much joy to share these stories through her work, and she is incredibly grateful to be able to express her culture in such a powerful and creative way.
Every brushstroke carries a piece of Amy’s spirit, and she hopes that through her art, others can feel a deeper connection to Country and culture too.
