A beautiful banksia pod with its unique splayed leaves and red bottlebrush flowers are depicted in a funky orange, pink and yellow bubble patterned vase. A sweet little zebra finch echoes the oranges from the vase. This is a stylized and bold still life with intentionally flattened perspectives and shapes. Painted on a specially prepared canvas and varnished with a beeswax sealer.
