‘Hilltop Hues’ was Peter's first design to mix colours and patterns over the 3D rounded shapes to create a vivid landscape of warm red tones. The sketch was exciting and new and with it he began working the same patterns into many digital artworks, murals and oil paintings. The piece was always intended to be a large pop of colour into a home, but with a couple of small inclusions of the Man and Dog and the flock of blue birds it became a set of 3 pieces with 'Waves to Wonderland' and 'Patterns on Pythons Pool'.
