Four sweet honeyeaters are perched among gum and bottlebrush flowers. The subjects are stylized to allow space for the watercolour washes to become the focus with their areas of granulation and puddles of colour created in the drying process. Painted with layered washes of watercolour and finished and finished with intricate pen and ink linework which makes the painting look like stained glass.
