The NAIDOC Exhibition 2025

Creative Edge Art Collective is proud to host this NAIDOC Week exhibition and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our Aboriginal artists work and stories with our local community. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.

The NAIDOC Exhibition runs from the 6th July - 31st July 2025. See below all the pieces that were apart of this exhibition.

This exhibition is more than just an art showcase. It's a powerful celebration of identity, storytelling, strength and legacy. And it's our honour to be able to share these stories with you during NAIDOC Week, which this year marks 50 years of recognising and celebrating the oldest living cultures on Earth.

This year's theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy", speaks volumes. It reminds us that while we honour the past and the incredible resilience of First Nations peoples, we must also invest in and uplift the next generation, those carrying culture, art, knowledge and activism forward with strength and purpose.

Here at Creative Edge, we are deeply committed to providing a platform for Indigneous voices to be seen and heard, not just during NAIDOC Week, but every day of the year. This exhbition is part of that committment, and we are incredibly proud to present the works of the amazing artists in our collective.

From the bold expression of Joanne Nangala and Rebecca Reid to the deeple personal works of Possum Rose, from the landscapes of Christine Bonney Websdale to the contemporary storytelling of Richard Websdale, Rickesha Burdett, Warda Art and Pilaru.

This is a space where culture is celebrated, stories are honoured, and the next generation is inspired.
