After a successful career in design, Sarah was able to return to her long-time love of art making. Her bright and bold paintings are inspired by her interests and passions - architecture, design, travel, and nature. Sarah's recent work explores the ephemeral nature of light, capturing the beauty of the mundane.
Since 2020, Sarah has exhibited in a range of group and solo exhibitions across Western Australia and interstate. Using her business skills buit up over her career in interior design, Sarah has built a large and supportive following over social media which, along with her talent for creating captivatingly beautiful artwork, has helped progress her artistic career. We can't wait to see what she does next!

In August 2021, before Creative Edge Art Collective had officially launched, Sarah Abbott was one of six WA artists to join us for a fantastic group exhibition held by our host business Arts Edge Photo & Frame. Over 90 visitors came along to experience the exhibition and hear from Sarah and the other artists about their creative journeys.
It was a wonderful night that proved to us there was a call for more art events here in the northern suburbs of Perth, and so the Collective was developed.
